Sienna Anderson

Hi! I’m Sienna, one of the GIS coordinators. Sohum and I work together to oversee Summit logistics and provide support to our four amazing committees. My favorite part of the Summit is learning to see the world from so many different perspectives, and I love watching each view add a little bit of magic to the kaleidoscope that is GIS.

Sohum Kothari

Hello! I am Sohum and I am one of the co-coordinators for GIS. I love GIS because of how it allows today’s youth to raise awareness to a variety of potent issues that we face in the modern day. Our world is depending on this generation to help make it a cleaner, healthier, and safer place to live, and GIS is a place where people with backgrounds and skillsets can all come together and use their shared passions towards helping mankind to contribute and give back to our planet.

    PUBLIC RELATIONS HEAD CHAIR

    Hello! My name is Tegan; As head chair of the PR Committee, I am in charge of managing the official socials as well as keeping the website updated. My favorite part of GIS is listening to the different presentations, because I get to learn about completely new fields, I wasn’t previously aware of.

    Hello! My name is Priya and I am the vice chair for the PR Committee this year! We work to promote GIS and take photos, manage the social media, and design graphics! My favorite part of GIS is seeing the amazing performances and getting to work and create with the other fantastic team members of GIS!

    DECORATIONS CO-CHAIR

    Hi, I'm Luke and I'm one of your Decorations Committee chairs! The Decorations Committee is in charge of creating all the visual elements, such as paintings, banners, and logos, that make the summit an even better experience for both attendees and speakers. The workshops we host are definitely my favorite part of GIS because you get to hang out with people from other committees and make decorations together!

    DECORATIONS VICE-CHAIR

    Hi! I’m Chloe, and this year I’ll be working as the decorations vice-chair! The decorations committee is all about the design aspect of GIS. We create the paintings, decorations, posters, logos, and everything that can make GIS the best experience for all attendees. My favorite part of GIS is the workshops- especially prep night- and getting to see how much we’ve accomplished.

    Hi! My name is Annie Ngo and I am Speaker Committee Vice Chair. Speaker committee is responsible for reaching out to speakers each year, inviting them to the summit. My favorite part of GIS is the opportunities to network and spreading awareness of world issues!
